Wandering

Wandering
Wandering, 2018. Watercolour on paper. 29.7 x 21cm

Wandering is an original abstract watercolour painting on paper.

The painting is a reflection on the human trait of wandering.

Three figures are at the centre of the painting, but where are they wandering to?

We’ve got ourselves a heatwave

Heat Wave (Full)
Heat Wave, 2018. Watercolour on paper. 29.7 x 21cm

Yes, it’s that time of year again.

Summertime.

It’s a season when, funnily enough, our weather improves markedly on the previous three seasons; autumn, winter and spring.

So it should come as no surprise that, on occasion, a prolonged period of warm weather is always possible. This, despite the cliche that it always rains in Great Britain.

It’s true, it does rain. Thank goodness.

But, more often than not, with the climate as it is, the UK does have the occasional heatwave.

And, as of Monday June 25th 2018, much of Great Britain is in the midst of a heatwave,

The illustrated painting depicts just that; a heat wave.

You can own the original watercolour painting titled Heat Wave here.

Also available, a limited edition print.

FFS (Everyday)

FFS (Everyday) (Full)
FFS (Everyday), 2018. Watercolour on paper. 29.7 x 21cm

FFS (Everyday) is an original watercolour painting on paper.

FFS is an acronym for the term “For Fuck’s sake” and is used on an everyday basis by a large number of people, and usually for good reason.

With a lot of incompetence in the world, it is the competent’s “go to” phrase to describe their fellow human without resorting to violence.

You can own a limited edition print of FFS here.

Slice of bread

A watercolour painting of a slice of bread by Mark Gisbourne
Slice, 2018. Watercolour on paper. 29.7 x 21cm

Slice is an original watercolour painting of a slice of bread.

It may or may not be the best thing since sliced bread depending on your opinion. In fact, it may be the worst thing since sliced bread although this would be a slight overreaction in my humble opinion.

Either way, it is most definitely a depiction of a slice of bread.

If you would like to own this particular rendering of a slice of bread, you can do so here where it is available via my online shop for a limited time.
