We’ve got ourselves a heatwave

Heat Wave (Full)
Heat Wave, 2018. Watercolour on paper. 29.7 x 21cm

Yes, it’s that time of year again.

It’s a season when, funnily enough, our weather improves markedly on the previous three seasons; autumn, winter and spring.

So it should come as no surprise that, on occasion, a prolonged period of warm weather is always possible. This, despite the cliche that it always rains in Great Britain.

It’s true, it does rain. Thank goodness.

But, more often than not, with the climate as it is, the UK does have the occasional heatwave.

And, as of Monday June 25th 2018, much of Great Britain is in the midst of a heatwave,

The illustrated painting depicts just that; a heat wave.

You can own the original watercolour painting titled Heat Wave here.

Also available, a limited edition print.

No White House Sackings on the Pale Blue Dot today

No White House Sackings this August 2nd 2017 on The Pale Blue Dot Painting 2.08.2017

There were no White House Sackings on the Pale Blue Dot today. That’s not to say there won’t be throughout August. I imagine the odds are quite short. In the meantime, there’s always the remainder of the pale blue dot summer to enjoy…In the northern hemisphere at least.
